My team and I recently completed Phase 1 of a website development and design project we are doing for a new startup business coming to Hernando County in Spring Hill, FL. As a website designer and web developer, I always get a great sense of satisfaction when working with totally new businesses who have never had an online presence before. And, this project was certainly one that I have enjoyed working on immensely.

This new facility, slated to open in early 2018, will include a 5,000 square foot Auditorium which will host educational classes, concerts, speakers, and performances, a yoga and exercise studio with a demonstration kitchen, and a wellness center. The Center will also include a gift shop, herbal shop, library, museum gallery and greenhouse. It will feature areas for children to play, and aquaponic system for fish and crops, and beautiful gardens with vegetables and herbs, as well as flowers to attract butterflies.

As something that is totally new to the area (as in it has never been done before!), me and my team were tasked with helping to guide them in their online presence, from a new website, to social media, digital marketing, company branding, and graphic design.

Phase 2 of the website project, which will come later in 2017, will add functionality to the website such as online scheduling of classes, online payments, and appointment bookings, among other new, fun features.

We are so excited about this project and can’t wait to continue to grow the website and watch this venture flourish and bring such great value to the Brooksville, Spring Hill, and great Hernando County community!

It was important to make sure that the new website was responsive and mobile-friendly across all devices, from desktops, to laptops, to tablets and smartphones. In 2017, we are finding over 50% of website visitors are visiting websites from mobile devices.
