Let’s face it, your blog or website isn’t going to promote itself. It’s up to you to get the word out and boost your content marketing efforts. But, it’s a struggle to know exactly how to do that. I get it.

Understand that there are six phases of the content marketing lifecycle:

  • Strategize
  • Plan
  • Produce
  • Promote
  • Analyze
  • Amplify

A lot of times website owners get through the first three phases and then stop because they aren’t sure how to promote.

Having the right promotion tools is always a big help in this area. I recently ran across an article to share with you that talks about the best content marketing tools for promoting your content.

It gives you some ideas for tools you can utilize in your content marketing efforts. Including tools for the distribution of your content via newsletters, tools to assist you in reaching out to influencers in your industry or niche, tools for promoting your content on other sites, and tools for cross-promotions and sharing.

Pam Neely, the article author, who has been in online marketing for 17 years, says:

“While it may seem obvious, re-sharing posts multiple times is an effective way to increase visibility and maximize your content reach, yet over 65% of marketers don’t re-share their posts on a regular basis. Re-sharing content manually can get complicated: it takes time to schedule across different social channels, and additional effort to dig through your existing content to identify which successful pieces you want to promote again. You also run the risk of over-doing it creating audience fatigue. That’s why you need to invest in a software that can help automate your distribution.”

 Neely goes on to say:

“Once you have the knowledge for how to become a successful content marketer, you need to implement it. Effective marketers know how to utilize available tools to keep their work at a consistently high quality while also saving themselves valuable time that could be spent elsewhere. Hopefully this list of tools provides you with helpful information you can use when deciding on the best software to select to help save you time and maximize the efficiency of your content creation process.”
